All three listed desktop builds currently require 4 GB RAM and 4 GB available storage. Windows needs Windows 10 and a DX11-capable GPU; macOS needs a Metal-capable GPU; Linux lists Ubuntu 14.04.5 LTS and a 2 GHz processor.

How to read pre-release requirements
These are the minimum values displayed before release, not an independent performance benchmark. Early Access updates can change storage use, graphics behavior, or operating-system support as more episodes arrive.
Steam does not currently publish a separate recommended tier. If your machine only meets the minimum, wait for launch-day player testing before assuming a target resolution or frame rate.
