How the episodic release is planned to work

The Steam Early Access FAQ describes a single purchase rather than separate paid episode packs. The first available build is planned to contain Episode Six. Later episodes would be added one at a time until the full version contains all planned Sally Face 2 episodes.

This is a development plan, not a fixed publishing calendar. The store page does not state how many sequel episodes there will be, how long each one will take, or the date of the first build.

Why Portable Moose is using Early Access

Portable Moose says community feedback will help identify technical issues and tune difficulty. That is especially relevant to a puzzle-led adventure: the developer can see where players become stuck and whether the optional hint system communicates enough without flattening the challenge.

Early Access also means the first playable version should not be mistaken for the complete sequel. Players who prefer an uninterrupted story can wait for the full version; players comfortable with an episodic schedule can begin with Episode Six.

What to check before buying

  • Confirm that Episode Six is the content currently included.
  • Read the newest Steam news posts for save compatibility and patch notes.
  • Check the minimum requirements for your operating system.
  • Decide whether you want an episodic experience or would rather wait for the complete story.
  • Treat the current price and feature list as changeable until launch.
